They spent years ignoring all feedback and tripling down on shit people didn't like because they had contempt for the vast majority of their audience. There's no saving it at this point. Regardless of donation amount, they'll keep going until they don't get enough subs/viewers to warrant organizing in-person events anymore and then go to the digital retirement home like during the pandemic at which point they'll be outdone by stuff like Jingle Jam. Something truly special and a former juggernaut of Twitch culture is dead because a few organizers at the top operated in bad faith.
