How Sony can save themselves:
>Put every first party title on their emulation services for PS1-2-P
>Hire RPCS3 developers to collaborate with their own emulation devs to make a PS3 emulator for this service
>Utilize smaller talent or dictate studios to focus on smaller scale projects using legacy IPs- do not put restrictions on them short of approval from original staff still at Sony (i.e., Naughty Dog develops a new Resistance game, gets approved by Insomniac leads)
>Heavier push into PC, announce your emulation services on PC as available on Steam with complete service integration including netplay support where possible
>Hire independent developers to make new IPs for you or work on legacy IPs
And most importantly of all
>During this heavy rebrand effort, have one State of Play every month from July to May, each one having various nostalgia stingers to reel people in (i.e., in July they have Resistance 4, in August they announce PS3-on-PS5, in September they etc etc etc)
>End this year of big events with a MAJOR PlayStation Showcase in June
>Announce the PS6 alongside new IPs they've been saving all year, and the big announcement is a complete retooling of PlayStation All Stars
>it is now a pure platform fighter with a roster encompassing PlayStation's entire history
>If you have already played a game in the roster, you automatically unlock them without doing any Arcade Mode, with bonus costumes and minions for further trophy completion
>It will be available on PS6 as a free title celebrating the history of PlayStation and the fact that the PS6 will be the place where all of PS' history and future is available
But instead of any of this, they'll announce four more live service flops and we'll get dripfed the fifth port of Jak 2.
