Damn Anon, you just sparked an insane series of memories. Growing up I was into scary shit but my incredibly Christian family refused to let me get into anything too severe, between this and the sequel Nightmare Academy and Ted Dekker’s books I got at least a sliver of horror. Hangman’s Curse the book isn’t bad, but the movie is garbage. I vaguely remember the main girl singing “Awesome God” while the spiders crawled around her hazmat suit and God keeps her safe.
