Idk, I feel like automata would return fire. They are coded to always engage, always pursue, always attack. I'm going to Houserule it that Automata may react while in Cortex Controller range.

Volley Fire is an integral part of the charge instead of a reaction, at least.

Do we know about the Shooting procedure? Maybe Go to Ground is an integral not-reaction there just like Volley Fire is for the Charge.
