I had been sober for a long time, last night I relapsed with Adderall and weed. It was a pretty normal night and then at some point while watching Netanyahu speak I was overcome with the strangest sensation of emotions. I got on my knees and began to pray and in the pits of my stomach I felt like I came face to face with true evil, like for a fraction of a second I understood everything like everything was a play being enacted by higher spiritual beings or Aliens and the blackness was so intense I began saying jesus christ is my lord and savior over and over again. After praying half of a rosary I felt like I was in an elevated level of consciousness. Normally I scroll on my phone before I sleep but I just very simply thought to myself "no, those are just fake thoughts being put in my head" and I was able to resist.

If drugs are bad why do they make you feel closer to God? Was this a demonic spirit possessing me?
