Millennial fashion was pure try-hard. Comfort didn’t matter. The goal was to wear something tight that hugged every curve like a second skin.
Gen Z just doesn’t care and that’s why it works. Baggy jeans, thrifted puffers, slip dresses that say they rolled out of bed and still look good. Chunky sneakers, loafers, weird layering. It's chaotic but cool. No effort, all attitude. And above all, it’s comfortable.
I've noticed a lot of Millennial women quietly switch over to Gen Z fashion and pretend they never dressed like that in the first place and a part of me is thankful because they looked terrible.
