I've actually addressed the mechanical points you're speaking of by including them in the prompt + dice rolling extension for silly tavern which is completely optional (I don't like it because a roll splits the AI's response into multiple parts which looks fugly)
Now, someone smarter than I could make a set of SillyTavern extensions for inventory, quest log and spellbooks, but why? You can just make Quick Reply shortcuts to your reply box like I always do.
AI is not end-all for adapting games. Everything related to UI is kind of redundant since you're better off just typing the shit you need to see to the bot.
Clearing the cache of old data is doable with some Regex magic I've never learned. My games are entirely based on Gemini, which is both blessed and cursed to have near-infinite context, meaning it never forgets. Great for inventory, bad for prose. Picrel is 310 messages in, I'm noting that so you can check out the prose.

I am currently reworking Cyberpunk 2020 because it was broken by the SillyTavern update. 2E is fully playable.
