I did a bit of a deep dive on barrel construction a couple weeks ago. It seems like QPQ barrels are pretty goated, even if they aren’t CHF or chrome lined. I was putting together this 16” and wound up buying a SOLGW CHF QPQ barrel for it. I only bothered with CHF because this will probably get some FRT use. I have a buddy that absolutely shills noveske barrels, but it just seems like a waste of 500-700 bucks.
