Dedicated jobbers are almost never interesting, but TO job is considered as respectable and normal as winning. Not everyone can win every fight. Ric Flair was one of the most well-known and respected wrestlers and among the things he was respected for was the fact when he jobbed, he sold the winner as a brick shithouse with falls that looked like his soul left his body.

And constantly losing is pretty intentional design. To quote ex-wrestler Maven Huffman: "The most important guy is not the guy with the belt, the most important guy is the guy who WANTS to get the belt and is gunning for it. Every time he loses it, that's a longer time spent fighting for it, and a bigger number for when they win that belt."
