Weirdly enough, the original reason Freeza destroyed planet Vegeta (That Dodoria said, before Super Saiyan was introduced) was him fearing the saiyans attacking him together, so maybe Salagir was referencing that? Still, it didn't make much sense when Dodoria said it either given how weak the average saiyan is...

I didn't remember that, but true! And Salagir changed the context around it for that guy to not have any hard feelings for Bardock since he was merely doing his job, and to use the visions to kill off Freeza... The context was way too heavily altered to "justify" Bardock's victory.
