The setting and story is just convoluted and forgettable. The black mesa setting mogs it so hard fr fr no cap

I never really understood the appeal. It felt too look up wikiy to me, same with that Oxygen sneed game. I did not get the same feel from Rimworld, there the adventure and story started right on the landing and there was less red tape for it to get interesting, whereas in oxygen sneed and starve if you died from some snakebite, lightning, 3% oxygen drain/hour because of a pipe draining some corner of anti soul gas or boss you had no clue how to damage it was just such a heavy blow to restart the game. If it's not fun, why bother won over in the end after 5 restarts or so, but in Rimworld on hardcore or whatever it was called I never burned out because it felt like a story that just ended there and that was that, time for a new story!
