Because it's a trend and most women will follow any trend in order to stay relevant and get attention. It's why suddenly baby showers are a thing, everyone has anxiety/autism, all girls dressing in the same way from the same brands, etc
Just watch a normie respond when you say you find tattoos ugly. You're not following the trend/norm so they will get mad trying to defend their choice. When the choice is basically that she got one because her favorite artist got one, or the rest of her friends got one and pressured her into getting it too.
To me, a tattoo on an attractive woman is like scratching something into the paint of a Ferrari. The worst is when they get multiple random ones and just look like the doodle book of a random artist.
