Where am I supposed to show off the great life I have built for myself?

So I've sorted everything out. I'm fit, academically educated, financially successful, own a house and have plenty of interesting hobbies that I'm skilled at. I attend social events and go out on the weekends. And still there is no one in sight. For years on end. Is this what it is? Some of us get lucky and some don't? Dating is starting to seem less like an activity that everyone engages in and more like serving a life sentence with possibility of parole. Maybe one day I'll get extremely lucky and be able to get out there again, but, for now, I'm stuck behind bars watching everyone else live life.
