Oh yeah, that absolutely would not happen. The only reason Nintendo would want to create their own launcher to begin with is to retain full control so they could continue the abuses of their walled garden ecosystem, just on safer hardware. They may or may not have to come crawling to Steam afterwards depending on how that pans out, but I highly, highly doubt they would just go straight to Steam without attempting to carve out their own segment of PC first. Then again, I didn't expect Sony to go straight to Steam either. But I really doubt it for Nintendo.
