and you know that a great proportion of that number will be kids and people who can't protect themselves, utterly vile animals
They serve no purpose in modern society except to placate the egos of people who cannot receive flattery or acceptance from other people and see more fellowship and similarity in the face of a mutt than in their fellow man, the same sort who treat their mindless animals as "children" apparently unable to see the difference between the two just because both are dependent on them.
People who die to dog attacks are usually bitten 50-100 times in the attack, many are facially unrecognisable due to how much of their face the dog has torn off.
"he dindu nuffin" "he was just scared" "he's never been like this before, i don't know what happened" - People can't be trusted to keep an animal with a mind of its own and low inhibition to murderous impulses under control, they should be defanged or else, all euthanised. Multiple people (probably small children) have been killed by dogs since i started writing this post.
Repulsive little monsters - both the dogs and the people that enable this to go on. If putting down dangerous dogs fails to make an impact, then start putting the owners, who intentionally allow this to go on because they feel inadequate, down too.
