All those ruins we call Roman we don't really know what they are or when.

There is this bit of extant Roman road between Rochdale and Halifax but when I looked up more info on it in a book from I think 1972 about the Turnpike system in England it turnout out it was built in the 18th Century.

We don't even know if they called themselves Romans. That is our name for them.
