how much influence do the weed companies in the us states d?
I know r/trees core potheads believe every word those guys say, in the weed magazines (unless it's not pro-weed).
I'm not rustled really, just wonder how they managed it.
I was reading Cali passed a law saying you can't be tested for weed in the workplace, was it lobbying? Does this mean if some crane operator drops a 2 ton block on a leg and he's glassy eyed, they can breathalyze him for muh alcohol, test for other drugs, but not for weed? Or is that wrong.
The US media still fawns over weed (slight pushback). They think they're being contrarian for some odd reason. Fine, but they also put these deboonkings out like "weed doesn't akshaiully affect cognitive function", the usual boring rants above booze even weed is legal or de facto legal, downplaying the driving thing. And medical weed doesn't actually have any good evidence other than being a bit fucked helps. Does any other recreational drug have that status?
For 30+ years the potheads bewailed just not wanting to be criminal. To just be like drinkers. Muh bodeh muh choice. That's all. I mean those guys are going to wake and baked legal or not but n/m
But the moment weed became legal, I've seen now potheads on reddit want special exemptions Like no breathalyzer. Some obv dream of being able to ban muh alcohol. IF you have no principals then I guess try. Won't happen I don't think.
