Frames for visual aesthetics and stability
Limbformers for original toy accuracy and play value
You can't expect one 20-30 dollar toy to be a robot, vehicle, and a sturdy, fully-articulated limb with hands/feet.
If you want that, there's a certain more expensive alternative you'll have to try.
