No shit. Kudo Hajime did nothing wrong. Was he eager & naive? He came to Kowloon for work, yes? Not because he was running away from some problem... so he was probably a very normal dude compared to the rest of the residents as we see in flashbacks.

I don't get that. Reiko is afraid to get close to people or intimate with them where they know the "real" her, she's got baggage... the city is gonna be demolished soon in the Fall but some young strapping lad proposed to you. What specifically in her backstory caused her to do this?

Did she 100% intend to die or was it more of a 50/50 thing? She says "Because I am a coward" to the old woman in ep13... but like, she's experiencing a communication problem. If she ran to Kowloon because she killed people or whatever tragic backstory, just tell Kudo for God's sake. Killing yourself and leaving him alone is a huge mindfuck. He didn't deserve any of that.
