Melons are supposed to be 90% seeds. You cook/pickle the rind like cucumbers and roast the seeds and eat them. The rind is supposed to be used as fresh fruit and you store the seeds. Westerners literally have them backwards, African melons are just huge seed balls with almost no pulp.
