India reminds me of my favorite quote by Charles De Gaulle, that "Brazil is not a serious Country."
India is similarly not a serious country. I would go as far as to say that the Indians lack many of the traits that a real country should have. Key among these, is India's inability to build any sort of institutional competency. No matter what India tries they cannot effectively provide their citizens with education, sanitation or infrastructure. They do not have the industrial capacity to be a global economic force, nor can they even be a country where you can outsource to. Think about what happened to Apple's pivot to Indian manufacturing, the Indians simply could not meet their contractual requirements. Their diplomats pursue a policy aligning themselves with Russia despite any long term benefits, just because retarded third world machismo compels them. It's almost like they are allergic to competency.
It doesn't matter what jets they use, because they'll still manage to lose their next air war against Pakistan too. The hardware doesn't matter if everyone using it is too retarded to use it. Seriously, read through what happened, the Indians failed on practically every level of organization, planning and coordination.
Whatever the price, it will not be worth it as long as it is piloted by Indians under the command of other Indians.
