It's not just that its that focusing on just learning takedown defense is completely fucking stupid because then you have a fighter that needs to worry both about striking and takedown entries whereas the other one needs to worry only about striking.

Truth is that pure striking is dead forever and the new standard is being able to strike and grapple both offensively and defensively. Fighters that can't shoot have no fucking excuse it ain't 2008 anymore.
