I've been mulling it over for a while and I'm going to lay out my entire Rudy's monster soul = knight schizo theory right here and now:

>Kris/Carol/RK are trying to bring her back via the dark world (Don't forget Kris... you promised...)
>Rudy is physically weakened most of the time because his soul is out doing knight shit, just like Kris becomes weaker when we're ripped out
>whether Rudy actually knows his soul is doing knight shit idk
>Kris never rips us out in the actual dark world which could imply that weird shit happens to souls if they are separated from their vessel too long
>Roaring Knight has to be a lightner since it opens a dark fountain right in front of us, so not a darkner-reincarnation of Dess
>Roaring Knight is not a lightener wearing a suit since it can shape change and lightners carry over their physical bodies to the dark world
>Rudy is connected to Toriel and the Police via Asgore and the Holidays because he is one, so his soul could get into the bunker
