It could have been an amazing game and the map is gorgeous. Literally a few hundred lines of enemy scripting imo could have elevated this game considerably. If you larp a bit and turn off all the hud bullshit(cant quite turn it all off, the audio cues f.e) and put it on the hardest diff where any dude can actually kill you its decent openworld with a little bit more realism than say fargoy, especially when you have like 30 guys you can let loose. Do the skill upgrade missions first and take your time to enjoy the map and move like you would for real. Dont be a stealth faggot, the most fun can be had with overwhelming fire and manpower. You can shell the shit out of people and you have an fpv drone iwth explosives which is a gamechanger. I wish the map was even bigger but the scale is much better than other open world games and is appreciated.

It astounds me that so much effort can be made by so many people and then the actual mechanics are always severely underdeveloped. I think im going to wrtie a gay blogpost about wildglands and how i would make it better and why violence is often the answer
