I have a question for you Anons.
So one guy said the mod faction musics are out of place. I do agree but it made me think about the music in general.
It really kinda sucks. It doesn't need to be some great shit or anything however, there does need to be differences. I unpacked the sound files and went through them and alot of them have very little differences. Mayasura Navy for example has very different music for if you are enemies or allies. The Cabal's music is one of the hardest hitting tracks of any mods. Meanwhile the Luddic church has 9 different songs with them and I bet most people didn't realize they had that many due to how similar they are. There are differences primarily with some shifting and adding a single extra thing like a bell or strings.
I feel the goal of subtlety should be set aside for these songs. We get such little feedback for our actions and aside from the change of the single Faction text box. We allegely are known by the Space Pope and Space Clergy to the point of being venerated as a living saint but all that changes are strings. We know the faith and make the signs and prayers and just strings.
This goes for all factions mind you. We really should have more differences between the Rep musics. When I touch down and I'm just a retard to sell slop too on Cullan I should have different music than when they're rolling out the red carpet because they know I'm their best damn customer. When I have a Hegemony Commission and I'm literally one of the Admirals holding the line of the Domain why do I get the same shitty track? The music for the game is inadequate. Free uses music would be better now.
Modders need to reduce their sound file formats or something. I don't know if it's a modding/java issue or the fact they are just incompetent but using Mayasura navy again it's sound files where the largest part of that mod wen I used it. I couldn't interact with their markets due to it overloading my memory once on lower specs.
