People sometimes get suprised that I play videogames because when we're talking about shit we do in our free time I always lead with gardening and cooking.

You get people here who get mad when someone disparages them for saying they're a gamer, but what people here don't realize, because they don't socialize, is that the person who says "I don't really do anything I just like watching tv" is considered just as much of a loser.
Even people who mostly do that will say they're working on their car, or they like jogging, or they go fishing on the weekends, or whatever because the stigma about gaming being for losers isn't that you're playing games, it's that you just sit on your arse all day.
Nobody gives a fuck about some retard calling himself a "movie buff" and, in fact, I'd say they're considered even bigger losers because they also sound like smug cunts.

Nothing wrong with that. I go to the bar after work because I can down a few in the hour it takes to wait for my bus. Lets me listen to my music, say hi to a few familiar faces, gives me that human interaction we all need for sanity's sake.
