also I do really like cryptids as I said so I have no issues with giving them the treatment either. My favorite is easily Mothman (who's actually more like a giant Owl-Man, not to be confused with the other Owlman/Deathraptor) but I've always really liked a lot of them. Although I have no idea how you'd turn Nessie into a Monster Girl.

If you want to make a Mothman stand out, the best way to do so would be to give one a lot of avian traits as well.
And no this is not stemming from my Harpy love; the original descriptions of Mothman actually all described him as very much having the characteristics of birds, from the wingspan to the high-pitched screeching and aggressive territorial behavior and one of them just straight up said he looked like a giant bird with red eyes. He only ended up getting called "Moth"man because someone working in the news based the name off Killer Moth from Batman (I guess for publicity reasons) and the name stuck.
Helps that this bad boy exists, too, and is probably what he was.
