I don't get it, why play then if you know most agents will have suffering in their backstory. We're effectively playing in a war torn post apocalypse world. How characters deal with their trauma is drastically different between them.
We have characters like Anby running away from trauma, orphans like Ellen where they simply try to live normal lives, Billy who completely disassociates from his past , and ones like Yuzuha and Horomasa who were science experiments bettering themselves.
Do you want an agent who is just perfect and without any trauma? Ben's like the only one like that and he's only endearing because of the juxtaposition.
