as a young man, i think yes, i'd prefer to have hair (i already have nice hair), but that is a byproduct of expectations and social pressure that we cannot shake off and that, unfortunately, we also contribute to (see the other guys above). this does not necessarily mean that we should continue to care, because age will take our hair away, as well as many other things, and we have no control over time, so what can we do? maybe shift our mindset towards practicality rather than beauty (this, of course, does not mean that we ignore the latter, they usually complement each other).
in short, we will be unable to keep up with vanities anyway, so why not get rid of them now?
