True story from 2 days ago:
I'm a guy in his mid 40s, shopping at the supermarket. Girl in her mid to late 20s struggling to carry all her shit, she didn't have a trolley/cart. As I'm leaving, I pass her trying to adjust her grip on all her stuff, ask her if she'd like help getting her stuff back to her car as i have a half empty cart, she accepts.
Long story short, as I'm watching her loading her car, she asks if I have a gf, I say no, I have a wife. Her eyes died a little as she thanked me. I honestly felt like whispering it was my privilege as per the old meme.
