Alex is just a name I enjoy and it's not excessively gendered which fits the rest of his character (if you're familiar with it). His last name, Heriot, is the name of a sludge metalcore band. I think I may add another R. Sometimes I think about changing it, but since Alex got featured in The Dossier, I feel like now I would be rewriting one of the few parts of him that everyone knows about.
