Quartz, being born with such a weak constitution, has a lot of feelings about being part of such an amazing family. He is proud of what his mom and dad have done, and his brother as well, who seems to have been born gifted beyond even his parents. But there is also that burning desire to be like them and wanting to prove himself. Quartz wants to win Unova's Master's Initiative in part so he can proudly claim he is his father and mother's son.

David is happy to read about his parents in the papers, but he also admits the news are very local. A small town rarely has big news. Depending on his story, the fact he reached the top of the Battle Frontier has been the talk of the town for years. It wasn't until he moved to Paldea that they finally put a lid on it.

Both. He usually does the final challenges when visiting the regions, but he only did so many.
The only ones he couldn't complete were Black City's Black Tower (due to causes outside of his control), and Alola's Battle Tree (mainly because he didn't finished the league's circuit, so he wasn't eligible). By that moment, he stopped going to league challenges. He doesn't have Champion status in Alola, Galar, and Paldea.

So in last night's session of "Pokémon Gray," Quartz got his soul back. Hiver had to trade places with him as part of a deal, and the rest of Team Warpstar were tasked with facing their own personal hells. Back in Blueberry Academy, the rest of the students found a secret hatch that is going to lead them to uncover Unova's Greatest Sin. The problem player went with them and is the equivalent of a UNC soldier next to a bunch of Spartans. I don't think many people will be trying to defend him, though. Quartz made a deal with Giratina about something I will roleplay later today with the GM.

As we found out in the session, a Personal Reality is something that everyone has and can manipulate to some degree. It is why a water-type Pokémon can spit a near-endless amount of water from its body, and why stronger Pokémon can create more powerful moves. Yeah, we are going deep into some metaphysics here.

I talked to the GM today after I posted that. The deal with Giratina will revolve around him and his brother, Cobalt. For some reason, only one of them should be alive. Fate, or something, is at play to ensure that one of them will always die. Giratina says she can help with that and will go further into details in the next session.
This plays into the multiple worldlines (Steins;Gate's Worldline Theory is in play in our game). In the one Quartz is from, his brother died. In the one Cobalt is from, Quartz died. In the new Worldline Quartz and Cobalt survived a little bit longer until Quartz eventually died.

I will take a little bit of time to explain why we introduced Worldline into the game. In lore, it is explained by Ultra Space and the events in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. the GM explained it like so. The Worldlines can be seen as how Pokémon Black and Pokémon White are different, but it is the same story. Both would be parallel worldlines. And sometimes these worldlines converge, Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon Platinum, that is what those are. We call our campaign "Pokémon Gray" because we have moved from Pokémon Black 3 White 3 into a converging worldline.

There's a whole plot point that they don't work quite correctly. Beast Balls are a thing for a reason. In-games, using any normal pokeball has about a x.1 (note decimal) catch rate. Beast Balls, meanwhile, have a x5 catch rate for UBs, but that same x.1 for normal 'mon.

For reference, a regular Pokeball has a catch rate of x1 normally. An ultra ball has a catch rate of x2. A dusk ball has a catch rate of x3 when used in a cave or at night.

I'd also say most pokemon are smart and conscious enough to not be a glorified fighting rooster dess. They just enjoy it

As for Noah's first encounter with a legendary is was a rough. While him and his nerdy pal Hiro were exploring a big city his other friend Tony ended up having one of his two Eevees get cursed. He managed to save the Eevee but the boys all got a call that a mystic girl named Helena they were friends with also had the curse after she helped Tony. To make a long story short the boys found the source of the curse in the woods where it was very foggy. Noah had his Crocolor use Sunny Day to reveal a massive serpent Pokemon made of wood. The guys managed to beat it and the horde of Arbok & Sevipers with it after it retreated. Then out from it crawled The Sandman as he is known. A giant ghostly Pokemon that we learned is a corrupted island guardian. Just being around put the other guys to sleep, but Noah managed to stay awake and tried to drag them out. The Professor luckily was overhead in a hot air balloon and noticed part of the fog go away. He came in to get the boys out and cave in the entrance to the cave so they could get away. Noah didn't sleep that night.

David just arrived to Vermillion City by boat. There he went to meet Lt. Surge. They both had a talk, and being "brothers in arms" (they obviously weren't in the same unit, but army men have camaradie with fellow soldiers who served), he made him a favor.
He called up a friend that could give him a lift to Pallet Town. Turns out that friend was Leaf. She took him there with her bike, and during the trip they spoke to each other.
Leaf became a wandering trainer after her League Challenge, and she was helping out proffesor Oak. David admitted that he was travelling because he needed to discover more about the union between pokémon and humans. They hit it off very well, so she gave him a Bulbasaur saying, and I quote, "let's see you handle that, Hoenn Boy."
In Pallet Town, he went to proffesor Oak's lab where, to his surprise, was under Blue Oak's control. Turns out the original proffesor was preparing himself to retire, and Blue chose to take over his stead. A talk later, David needed to register himself as a Kanto Trainer, but he couldn't use the Bulbasaur Leaf gave him. Turns out she does that a lot, and that gives the Pokémon League Association a bit of a problem with Trainer IDs.
David went to pick his new "first" pokémon, and it turned out to be an Eevee. Blue had many of those.

So yeah: unnoficially, his first pokémon in Kanto is Bulbasaur, but officially is an Eevee.

And also I was recently updating my own installs of koikatsu, and I recently came across this page called "Gofile" that allows you to upload any size of files, but these files are only up for a few days if they stay idle, so my question is: Is there anyone interested in getting the program but not willing to go through torrenting it(since before when i showed the links some people were unable to get the program that way)? Because if yes, I can probably upload the torrented program there, so you can also do your own stuff with my card recreations if you guys want. So, something major happened in our game. I won't be playing Quartz for a while, it seems. The GM pulled a fast one on us and brought back some old OCs from our last game, saying, "You will be playing these guys!" And we are tasked with saving our current OCs.
I really look forward to getting back to Quartz, but for now, I get to play an overdog in the form of my old OC "White". His real name is Darius Blanchi Eternis I. For those who remember, yes, this is Neige's original trainer. He used to be a litwick and lampit lost in the "PMD world," which we to this day do not know exactly how that connects to the main world.

Yeah, most of the last session took place with Cobalt and some secondary characters who were looking around some ruins under what we assumed was Blueberry Academy, but it might have been something else. The ruins depicted ancient Unova, and we walked through a ghost town. It was very magical, like we were in some kind of dream or memory. The boss fight at the end was against a guardian of the place, and to meet the 5-man death requirement, she said either you kill me, or I kill one of you...Or there is a 3td option, but I like the first two more." In the end the problem player's weak ass character who had no business being there caught one attack and that was enough to kill him. Took a gut shot that pierced his liver, and we got to hear his final words and all of that stuff.
And as everyone walked through the threshold to uncover what Unova's greatest sin was, we switched perspectives to somewhere else and got to see Darius and a few others meet up. That was where we ended the session, knowing we will be playing them from now on. I imagine we will switch perspectives to at least see what the greatest sin is, that has been building for months now.

I'll say that Louis, surname Taffet, was named for a combination of things- I was, ultimately, going for a joke based on a color, but wanted it to be French in origin since he's Kalosian. Doing some searching around, and who did I find to have invented a cheap pigment for cobalt blue but Louis Jacques Thénard. Taffet is from taffetta, playing into the tailor part. It also sounds like a real surname, rather than just a fabric joke.

Yeah, one called Pokemon Z. It takes place after X and Y. The GM is wild, though. it is more of a NieR Persona game with a Pokemon skin than a Pokemon game. We got Pokemon human hybrids called Gestalts. Alexander was a failed Reburst with Alex and his Mimikyu, and Alexander is also Xander's Shadow, who took over. Xander split off from him with his own body and is basically Izuru from Danganronpa. And Alexander found out he can create "replicants" of people, which are just memories of people given form. Alexander is also having his soul eaten by a Delphox named Azrael. it was called Ego Death, and Azrael will eventually take over Alexander's body.

That Azrael turned out to be the father of my character's Fennekin. Funny story, I found this obscure Chinese webseries called "Aotu World" while searching for inspiration for outfits for Alex, and wouldn't you know it, I found exactly what I was looking for, and the character just so happened to be named Xander.

It's a pretty reasonable thing to not want people to think you're a homo, especially when you are mostly attracted to women. He doesn't like the idea of being seen that way which is why he isn't open about it.
I'm surprised people pay attention enough to me to derive this. It's not really something that's elaborated upon in his story. I had considered touching upon it with his Airbnb host Edward during his main storyline as well as with Dasein during the scrapped Kingdom arc, but I decided against it because I just really have no interest in depicting romance. At most there would be some passing comments/thoughts which hint at it. Any characters that Alex would actually be significantly attracted to belong to other users. IYKYK
Alex's relationship with the crop top is pretty interesting; canonically, he only wears them within the confines of his own home. He's got a pretty good amount of them, some of them are plain, most of them have some kind of band design. The reason he wears them is because he likes to sleep in them and feel the blankets on his stomach, while in the day, he likes to feel sexy, and it's just very comfortable. He would never wear them outside of his home because he doesn't want to be called gay/femboy even though he's not. I like to think that his expression of band crop top + sweatpants keeps an edge to him that prevents it from being too feminine; at his core, he just really likes his body. If someone somehow found out, he'd probably beat the shit out of them.
In both Fantasyland and CyberPoke 2077, he takes advantage of more androgynous, lax social norms to wear a crop top without much issue. In any timeline, that's pretty much as feminine as his clothing is going to get, he doesn't wear shorts or any other articles of clothing associated with women, as Bibi once said, shorts are out of style on men. I read somewhere that the reason a lot of female cartoon characters used to wear crop tops is because it's a way of portraying her femininity and sexuality without being explicit or adult. I don't disagree, and I think that a lot of people end up doing this unconsciously. I guess the same thing now goes for the few guys who get depicted with one. It was/is a meme that almost every OC here has been depicted wearing a crop top. I once traced someone else's artwork to make a mockup of Alex's fantasy outfit, pictured here. I don't disagree, and he is quite available, though such is either implied or shown offscreen in "fade to black" moments.The lore justification in the fantasy AU is that it's a cultural thing where rogues are daring you to try and scratch their exposed parts, and having a toned stomach and tight waist without any scars means you're daring and skillful. It's also an open secret that rogues will often get their scars removed or hidden with magic so as to keep their image. If you're wearing the light armor that's typical in most campaigns, then you're either a newbie, not very brave, or shit has really hit the fan and you need every bit of protection that you can get. And for the Cyberpunk AU people have shields like the ones from Dune which is why people wear revealing clothing without fear

So now an adult man, Darius is making up for lost time, and one thing he does is dress however the hell he wants so long as it is not a dress anymore.

Geographically? It's just the usual geography checklist but culturally it's probably going to be based off Mediterranean cultures in the south around the warm sea with Baltic cultures up in the north. The current idea is the capital of an ancient empire in the modern age, struggling to recover from economic downturn and recent natural disasters.

Midge Update: She opened up a bug sanctuary where she will host bug catching contests, bug races, bug battles, bug contests, all kinds of fun bug themed activities all to raise money to fund her research into Burst (Kairos' battle gimmick based on the Burst Evolution from Pokemon ReBurst)

She is also working towards liberating a Genesect but that won't happen for a while.

Good to be back, Midge is doing great, her little Pheromosa got a name: Morphelia (Her family is big on 'M' names and she figured she'd keep the tradition alive). She had it explained to her, that Pheromosa and other Ultra Beasts are, for the most part, more capable and intelligent than most other Pokémon and that the one she found specifically is a child that needs to be monitored or it will run amok. I'm currently laying the groundwork for Morphelia to be the Pokémon she Bursts with but you need loyalty 6 to do it so I have lots of rp ahead of me before she can truly unlock that.

It's pretty cool from what I've seen. You get +14 stat points to distribute as you see fit, one move your Pokémon knows that you don't and one ability your Pokémon has but your don't. Also it acts as a bit of an Onion HP deal for the trainer as, when defeated in Burst, the trainer is fine and the Pokémon is fainted (iirc)

I don’t think the real problem is the prompts themselves because they do a great job of getting the ball rolling. What really sustains a thread is active engagement. If you show genuine interest in someone else’s character, they’ll naturally want to return the favor. I say spend a few minutes reading through other people’s posts and ask some thoughtful questions. When they see you engaging with them, they’re far more likely to stick around and engage with your posts in return.

Since its start last year, threads would almost always last under a week and could even be as short as three days. Arguments still happened every now and then, but the thread would recover. Then, from the end of March to the start of April, we had an apocalyptic thread. The thread's most disliked user decided to complain about the thread task and question because it didn't interest him. I was the one who made that thread, but the task and question were provided to me by another user. Said user got very upset and an argument started which lasted for two days, throughout which the hated user constantly argued with several other people while simultaneously claiming that anyone who argued against him was either a troll or a stalker who had it out for him. Other users routinely pointed out his circular logic and sheer lack of intellect, but he refused to admit that he was in the wrong. This culminated in the person who used to maintain the archives making the executive decision to delete all of the hated user's content from the archives, citing his continued lack of interest in other people's content and refusal to admit that he is ever in the wrong, since he had continually gotten into arguments since joining the thread and also regularly disparaged other people's concepts or ideas. While that user probably didn't have any actual fans, some people defended him on principle, and seeing that his reputation was sunk, the archives and pastebins were deleted by the old guy. Along with both the exiled user and the guy who deleted the archives, three users also quit. The remnants decided to go on hiatus for ten days. Then 4chan was shut down just as the thread was coming back, and it diminished interest in the thread once again. Threads now consistently last around three weeks. Unfortunately, no amount of "engagement" is ever going to make this thread as active as it used to be.

Q2 Quartz: Quartz owns a top-of-the-line brand of Rotom Phone. It is a silver case, and he named the Rotom on it Roro. Roro does not have a Pokedex app on it yet, but it does have a camera and other features you'd expect it to have. Lately, Roro has been downloading an unknown update and has recently developed the ability to battle as a low-level Rotom.
Quartz also has a raincoat, an umbrella, and an expert-level grooming kit with a built-in charger for Roro.
He has a sewing kit and has made his own clothes for Pokémon contests.
He might have had a PokéNav, but it wouldn't be much use outside of Hoenn, so he probably left it at home.
Other miscellaneous items he has a Pokedoll and a backpack full of pokeballs, curatives, and Pokefood.

Already did the draw task, but I can take this on. Pic related for devices. PokeGear has a color screen (I like to imagine technology has progressed, and his region didn't go the route of Rotom phones).
The Silph Scope is actually based off of one of the ghost hunter dudes in one of the manga spin-offs, so It's stock as far as I'm concerned.
Not sure about the berry cooler, because it's a part of his region. Battle mode is something I think everyone has, so I'll just go the route of saying it's used and old, and that's given it unusual quirks.

Concerning deletion from the archives, I don't think Archivist should feel bad for wanting to delete stuff. On the contrary, Sup/tg/, another 4chan archive, uses a vote system to determine what stays and what goes, as someone somewhere is paying for storage space, and AIspam can easily reach terabytes because of how easy it is to "make" and just because it's posted, doesn't mean it's valuable, and "hurr I'm the bestest coolest strongest who can escape all prompts and I'm also in several other franchises OC universes because I'm so amazing" is practically drivel.

That article was published in 2016 and he was responding to a procedurally generated video of a zombie corpse writhing. His criticism was that it felt inhuman and that it did not resemble "real" pain, but that was the WHOLE POINT OF THE AI VIDEO, it was explained to him that "Artificial intelligence could present us with grotesque movements that we humans can't imagine" yet he just started rambling about his friend who struggles to lift his hand. And no wonder he said that he would never incorporate the technology into his work, because not only was it nascent, but it was also 3D and his films are in 2D.

I do not know if he has commented on modern AI image generation but what I'm trying to get at here is that the most anyone who is actually confident in their artistic skill would attack AI with is some kind of passing comment like that before quickly moving on, while people who are on a constant anti-AI crusade are a bunch of mediocre screeds. Miyazaki didn't go on this kind of offensive after witnessing that old AI video, he just moved on and continued doing his own thing, something which spergs cannot do because they feel constantly under attack by AI.

I always found Studio Ghibli films to be quite kitsch, basically Japan's equivalent of Thomas Kinkade paintings, but whatever talent he has lies in mostly directing, not artistry, the uniqueness of his artstyle would have meant SQUAT if he wasn't good at developing the storytelling that got him his international acclaim.

The thing about SAG-AFTRA is that they act less like a union and more like the shittiest talent agency imaginable, they have a near complete monopoly on the US acting industry and they only backed down recently because the actors they represent were getting desperate.

With Genshin Impact in particular, the game was never actually a union project because it's illegal for the Chinese developer to sign agreements with foreign unions, SAG knew this and still tried to strongarm the game into becoming a union project. It was never a part of the strike but rather it was a collective effort by SAGfags in the game to turn it into a union game. What's really disgusting is that both in and out of Genshin a lot of SAG actors are huge jackasses that harass non-union members and try to get them blacklisted from the industry in order to get them to become union. In particular, Paimon and Keqing got recasted because their VAs harassed the new Kinich VA calling him a scab. All of this has resulted in Mihoyo (who were already hiring more outside of the US) silently choosing to not hire union anymore, which hurts American VAs because of this predatory union.

SAG and its members have had a long history of shitty behavior throughout this strike and before that, here's an hour long video explaining everything.

The team Quartz is part of is called Team Warpstar. There is quite a lot, but I will try to keep it brief for one post. The tall girl in the mask is P-24, next to her, the boy with the choker is named Ven. The boy between them introduced himself as "Mocchi". The guy on the far right is Robby. Quartz is there, of course, and my friend did come in last thread and introduced Carmine, the last guy above Quartz.
Team Warpstar joined the Unovan Pokémon Master's Initiative, a major Pokémon event that lasts a year, starting in the spring, to help rebuild the lost faith in the Pokémon League. The teams are divided into teams of 1-6 depending on your skill level and as you can see in the pic attached, Team Warpstar are at the bottom, total noobs who barely made the cut. All of their starters had something weird about them.

His starter is J, a Minccino who showed no emotions and only ever moved or did anything when told to do it. When told, he would do it perfectly, though. Carmine's personal sport is golf. He is the logical member of the team, but only because he is autistic and bad at empathy.

We actually lost Robby a while ago. His player had real life come up, and he couldn't make the sessions anymore. We got a new member on our team, though, named Brass. He seems to be working for a mysterious organization, probably Interpol. I mean, Louis is going through Orre on his journey, and one of his pokemon is a GTS trade from a not-entirely accurate take on Pasio. Holon, at least, has some fan support and interest beyond the TCG.

When my friends and I started Pokémon tabletops, we made our own regions first. We had one based on Egypt and one based on Greenland. We called it Pokémon Seas and Sands. The GM had two games going side by side, so it felt like the games. The Regions were called Ta-Mehew and the Barbarian Isles.

One of his favorite catches was in Kanto. During the weekly Moon Rock dance of the Clefairies, many people gathered to see them. While he enjoyed the show, he was the only one who noticed a Cleffa shyly hidden nearby.
He went to her when nobody cared, and realized she wanted to dance as well. He joined her and danced in a secluded area that was lit by moonlight. She was so happy she evolved into a Clefairy. She joined him after that.

They have opaque shell, but in my setting your character can check on the ball by using the Pokédex. David also changed the balls of his main pokémon (Swampert, Sceptyle, and Blaziken) for Luxury Balls so they can travel more comfortably.

Gene technically has 2 starters, Eevee is a pet he had before, and snivy was the mon he got the moment he started his journey to experience the world.
The idea was that he would come over like N and offer the ball to most of his mons.

Well, to answer that- Louis has two PoUS. Obviously, there's Eliza the Zubat who rates as an XXS on the GO scale, but his starter, Gu the Beedrill, is huge. As in, noticeably taller than him while most are only about 3' tall. Gu is still back in Kalos, though, so it's not really relevant to the story yet. When he gets added in tho, it'll be noticed by other characters.

All of Miko's pokemon may seem a bit larger than others of their kind when standing next to their trainer, but that's just because Miko's so small. His Electrode however seems huge regardless... and that's because it kind of is. It was the biggest of the bunch Miko found roaming the wilds outside Medali, and so that's the one he caught. I'd say it's close to Max size (4'11") since Miko's only around 4 feet tall.

As for Ivy, I hadn't given it much thought before, but looking at how I usually draw her Pokemon in comparison to her, I've determined that Ivy's Chansey and Pawmot are a bit larger than average by 5 and 6 inches respectively. As for her Hitmonchan, he's a good deal larger than others of his kind standing at around 5'10" instead of the standard 4'07".
