Don't see how they can survive into 2026 when green credits end in September. Nobody's buying Teslas anymore, and Elon's big bet with his "refreshed" models isn't working. His robotaxis don't have LIDAR and can only draw dicks in Texas.

There are no other serious EV companies on the market.

Tesla's brand is all about "luxury". Same with Apple. It's why their shit is so expensive. They have to keep up appearances. Even with things like "bacon" or a simple "burger" has to be $10-20+. Making anything of yours cheap would cheapen the brand, and make it lose its luxury status.

Even as Teslas sales/revenue decrease yet again, they can't slash prices. They don't want to be known as a "cheap car", so they have to maintain their cost. Right now, 50% of Tesla's revenue comes from subsidies, which will end this September.

Tesla was already breaking even, so with subsidies gone, and a continued decline of revenue, they will start going back into the red yet again.

Setting up expensive as fuck Tesla Diners all cross the US can bring in some extra revenue with minimal costs.
