From whst I've seen its not even that. Its just a form of asinine political virtue signaling. They don't actually believe in any religion nor do they care (or even want to know) about the past few thousand years of history. It basically boils down to "someone told me Christianity is Jewish so I have to hate it, but atheism is gay so I'll pretend to be pagan, which someone told me was white and trad."
