That's kind of how war used to be everyone would be standing in a line and shoot on command and it would be really formal like an event, but then during the revolution the Americans said "fuck this shit this is war" and started doing whatever the fuck they wanted to win and the British accused them of foul play.
Warfare today is no longer fighting to the death with guns and tanks but rather taking control of the political, economic and social aspects of a country and have their own population destroy the country from within by brainwashing them into voting for a parties that are secretly in alliance with the enemy.
