These numbers are horribly skewed because plenty of steam users install steam on various devices like laptops or work pc's to use the store and community functions without actually playing a single game on these devices. They still get counted in the hardware survey though. I myself have Steam running on 6 devices and I only use 3 of them to actually play vidya on. Every steam user I know has it running on multiple devices too. This whole thing is utterly ridiculous.
