That shows artstyle is ass I’m sorry, there’s a reason that shows artstyle is so easy to replicate online, it’s because it’s sucks and is stiff as shit. Rigged animation isn’t always a bad thing, but you got to execute it well, it is possible to be expressive with rigs, look at Wander Over Yonder for example.

Unfortunately many tweened shows like Total Drama look stiff and inexpressive as shit just so they can be animated more easily.
