The marriage end is Thiu embracing his own world with his better half, and enjoying the love of someone who literally is not only part of him, but who gets him wholeheartedly. Thiu life was at rock bottom, so this is him trowing all away and never looking back. Halved ending seems like a failed state version of marriage to me, because is technically the same, but not as fulfilling, and unresolved. The merge ending is a middle ground, as Thiu get back on track on the world, and every character find a resolution on his own, but still feels bleak, like Thiu running against the grain with what's ahead of him. If i have to pick one ending, i like the Marriage ending the most, considering that across the story, the sad half realize hope for the future, and the happy one gets bleak but grounded, in hapiness to its fullest extention, in a short life, Thiu not only have hope to improve and start anew, but also to live the happier he's ever been without a care in the world; its the ideal outcome imo.
Either way, every ending hit the spot with one thing tho: That Thiu's decision to split himself is something that he will never regret doing. Damn good story.
