I did some stuff with gradient maps and lowered the overall brightness on the rocks in the front. I'm not sure if it looks much better though but at least the character fits in more with the background. Might need to add some orange rim lights.

I am using a real-life photo of a person as a reference for the pose/lighting, made up the background myself obviously but it's kinda hard to get the details of the lighting right
