Here is an attempt at a helmet. Satisfied but not super happy with it.

I would think a dragon's scales could provide decent protection, maybe enough to omit the chainmail used to protect a plate armored knight's gaps in the joint areas. But I decided to just go with historical armor references.

I think I'd like to make a more fantasy style load out as well eventually.
