>every single indie game feeling like they have to be ball gratingly hard for no reason
Please, go play some fucking Shmups, I beg of you. Play literally one bullet hell until you get a solid 1cc. Crimzon Clover is really good for beginners because the easy mode still puts up a good challenge. ZeroRanger too. Hell, AlexMIdle is one of the more recent additions to the Deltarune team and he's worked on both ZeroRanger and Star of Providence, you could give either of those a try. Just stop being such a baby bitch because a game delivered you a type of challenge you aren't used to. The Knight has literally TWO tricky attacks (Sword Tunnel 1 and "You feel surrounded") and those aren't even close to that big of a deal if you've played any decent shmup before.
I don't know how the fuck a game which states ON THE FACE OF IT that it's a bullet hell RPG has managed to attract so many people that have never even attempted to learn bullet hell mechanics. It's like if someone might a Fighting Game RPG and then people who played that bitched about having to learn what a Super Cancel is.
