It's one of the few anime that make 3D animation work, absolutely beautiful visuals but it will never get a sequel so don't expect too much from the story.

They don't need food or sleep instead their sustenance and rest needs are on the same bar that needs sunlight to be fulfilled.
And since they are rocks their bodies don't bleed and burn instead they shatter leaving chunks of their bodies behind that you need to collect in order to heal, and when they loose fragments of their bodies they forget Passions and skills.
