I'm a "06 is japslop" agenda poster. This is absolutely the case.
Silvaze in particular is complete Japslop. Kimi no Nawa (the second highest-grossing movie in Japan) has a time travel plot, the characters losing memories of each other, then being reunited by chance at the end. This same "reunited after losing memories" trope happens at the end of the Evangelion manga. Shadow and Maria. Obvious tanabata parallels abound, this shit is so played out but Japanese people love it.
