Is this not common and straightforward?

Just started reading this. It heavily reminds me of Rilke's The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge in the writing style, the narrator's perception of the world, and the inscrutable poetic jabbering that fills every other page. I know /lit/ is unanimous in their praise of Krasznahoraki's books, however I never see this one mentioned. Anyone here like it? Thoughts?
