The form of the sexual encounter (a relationship vs. a ritual) is irrelevant. The central problem is the spiritual ineptitude of the modern woman, who is the "material" for any such practice.
For the man "riding the tiger," whose goal is invulnerability against the forces of dissolution, engaging with a modern woman is spiritual suicide. As a vessel of these very forces (materialism, sentimentality, consumerism etc...), her spiritual emptiness would contaminate and dissolve him rather than elevate him.
Therefore, the path of "sexual magic" is not a viable option in the current age. It cannot be treated as a mere technique because its essential prerequisite, the donna assoluta, has been virtually destroyed by modernity.
