I mean in the 'real world' in reference to the 'dream/mental world' where they get to hide or change the thing they hate or don't want - Hime doesn't have Haru as her little sister there. She mentions she killed her with scissors in the finale in what seems to be her talking about something she hid/escaped from

the whole sequence had meaning with him trying to push her away because he couldn't accept the idea someone he views as beautiful and looks up to could love him when he hates himself. I guess it might've been about her trying to protect him from that view about himself, or something to do with how he viewed others - how he turned Hime into "It" since head/face feel reminiscient of the person/personality and without them they can just be "it" again. But yeah feels like im missing something there.

huh. Not sure if that'd be the case, since they still credit sekai and it feels like the mistakes would be different - it's more misunderstanding japanese than misunderstanding english.
>SoL
it was well written and paced, pretty realistic and relatable in terms of how teens work. The philosophy/science bits were just bloated for bloat's sake sometimes. But at least it was pretty original with the world aspects and went really far in trying to make sense so I can't say I dislike it in retrospect.
