the first time you ink and color your work is always a shock becasue it reveals all your mistakes to you for the first time. I still remember the first time I ever colored in a drawing of mine and that caused me to be so depressed and anxious I spent the next 3 months studying color theory. That didn't improve my work at all though, because color was not the reason why I was upset, it was simple drawing mistakes. Just working on your fundies will improve your inking and coloring automatically, I promise
