I legitimately think the way the DoTs are designed in this game is so fucking evil. Locking them not behind a specific set that applies them per hit with certain cooldowns (and then creating characters that cater to said gimmick by eg having a high hitcount or being able to spam charged attacks or w/e you want to use to apply it) but behind characters (one of which is Rover for each element, have fun in Whimpering Wastes) is actually just diabolical.
Sincerely, how is there no outrage about this? Zani and Phoebe felt less offensive because Phoebe was run previously (still sucked because you might have skipped her) but was at least being rerun alongside Zani. If you skipped the bard you'll have to wait 3-6 months to improve your Cartwheel. What the fuck?
This is definitely one of the more predatory things I've seen in a game.
