Not only brown Brazilians which is what you obviously mean aren't "natives" (indigenous Brazilians are), but rural people aren't necessarily brown Brazilians, and in fact many of them are actually poor white Brazilians in certain regions

Brazil is much more socially and economically segregated than ethnically or racially segregated. It's simply a different society. It just so happens that whiter people here are often, but not always, richer
But that is not even always the case with rural whites in Brazil because they're usually middle-class at best and in fact some groups such as Polish-Brazilians tend to be pretty poor
