I don't like it anywhere near as much as the original in its totality but Remake was really fun outside of the 2 or 3 fillery sidequest parts. Story changes were dumb but they nailed the characters and it looked beautiful. Probably the best combat system in a Final Fantasy.
Rebirth however I'm struggling with due to the sheer volume of open world slop and the complete lack of momentum in the story. Turning what should be a quick chocobo ride down to Junon and a ship traversal to Costa del Sol into over 20 hours of my playthrough is nonsense.
